Theatreship, E14 9SH , [Venue Details]

Alternative and folk adjacent music.

28 Aug 2026
@7.30pm

After becoming obsessed with the mysterious life cycle of the eel, Western was inspired by the second, translucent phase of their life cycle - where the young creatures drift unseen through the ocean like strands of glass. The project captures a sense of dislocation, fragility, and survival in uncertain environments.

Mabel Clarke are a post-folk emo jam band from London.

Ropeburn is an alternative/slowcore/post-rock inspired quintet featuring trumpet and banjo. The band are based in London, but hail from both Ireland and the UK and includes members from Blood Wizard, Kissing on Camera, Baggio and Bog Band. Together they create fluid songs that spill into each other to make a cohesive and seamless set, with all members singing. Ropeburn pulls influences from artists including Caroline, Alex G and American Football.
